Shahari Va Gramin Vikas Bahuddeshiya Sanstha (SGVBS) has been at the
forefront of social development initiatives in Maharashtra, focusing on skill development, health awareness, and economic empowerment for marginalised communities. Through collaborative efforts with various
governmental bodies and organisations, SGVBS has successfully implemented
numerous impactful projects.
Skill-Oriented Training Organizer (2010-2014): Elected by the District Milk Association, SGVBS provided training focused on enhancing skills in the dairy sector, empowering individuals to improve their livelihoods.
Swarnjayanti Gramrogar Yojana (2011-2014): Collaborated with the District Rural Development Agency to promote self-employment and sustainable livelihoods in rural areas through skill development and training.
Gadchiroli District (2013-2015): SGVBS implemented and
monitored NRLM projects aimed at uplifting rural communities. These initiatives provided skill development training and livelihood opportunities, improving the economic conditions of participants.
Partnered with the Department of Land Resources, and Ministry of Rural Development to implement an area development program focusing on sustainable rural development practices, addressing local challenges, and enhancing community welfare.
Engaged in various government-run projects in districts such as Nanded, Gadchiroli, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Amravati, Nashik, Wardha, and Pune. These projects encompass skill development and social welfare programs aimed at uplifting underprivileged populations.
Collaborated with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) to conduct road safety awareness campaigns and drivers’ welfare programs in Nagpur. This initiative emphasizes the importance of safe driving practices and provides training for drivers.
Partnered with the Maharashtra State AIDS Control Society and Government Medical College to conduct awareness campaigns on HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment. These efforts primarily target youth to engage them in proactive health measures.
Collaborated with Nagpur Mahanagar Palika (NMC) and other governmental bodies to organize social welfare programs aimed at supporting disadvantaged sections of society. These initiatives focus on empowerment, health awareness, and dignified living for the underprivileged.
